"X" Words for Networking

Networking can be scary. Especially if you’re not the extroverted type. eWomenNetwork Founder and CEO, Sandra Yancey, created her company in 2000 for women entrepreneurs who struggled with networking, especially since back then most of the networking was in the good-ole-boy network. Over time, she developed 3 key “X” words for networking to help get the conversation going that she describes in her video above.

Networking Should be Intentional. Words Matter.

Turning Contacts into Connections, Sandra explains that networking must be intentional and strategic, “What may look like a coincidental meeting to the rest of the world is part of an intentional effort of navigating through the networking process, which is to converse, connect, collaborate and create.”
