 You'll Learn:

  • How a homeless man changed his life

  • What the tipping point of his success is

  • Why he thinks passion is overrated when it comes to business

Ron Hall was born near Blooming Grove, Texas in September 1945. Hall attended TCU (Texas Christian University). Hall was drafted before his senior year and his college experience allowed him to be stationed in Colorado as a weapons inspector rather than going to Vietnam. Ron Hall married Deborah (Debbie) Short in 1969. Shortly after, Hall began his career as a high-end art dealer. Under the insistence of Debbie, Ron began to volunteer at the Union Gospel Mission, where he met a homeless man named Denver. Debbie saw from the first moment that Denver was going to be an influential person in the community. Reluctantly, Ron befriended Denver--a friendship that lasted decades and grew into a familial bond. Hall is now a lecturer, spreading Debbie's message of love and acceptance around the United States.
